Annual FREE Family Fun Day

On behalf of the St Peter's Community Gathering, thank you to everyone who made the Family Fun Day a huge success!

Myself and the team were on site from 9am setting up, unfortunately we didn’t have a great start due to the rain. However, thankfully the sun came out later on in the afternoon and brightened up the atmosphere.

It was a packed day filled with joy, seeing the smiles on hundreds of children and parents was truly rewarding.

I’ve been a part of the St. Peter’s Community Gathering since 2023, however, I’ve never seen the fun day so busy. This year the footfall was significantly higher than previous years, lot’s of fun activities, drinks, samosas, hot dogs and ice cream (over 400) all for FREE!

Throughout the event myself and team members actively engaged with stallholders, parents and children. All feedback has been noted and will be used in our planning for next year.

Finally, thank you to Jigsaw Homes Tameside for funding this amazing event. Thank you to ALL our stall holders, GMP (Tameside), councillors and most importantly the local residents that attended. Together you all helped to make this community event a huge success. We look forward to welcoming you all again next year!
